05.07.2007 - 2 new vessels for HAMMONIA
MV „HAMMONIA BEROLINA“ & MV „HAMMONIA FORTUNA“
In March and June this year we again had reason for rejoicing. The second and third vessel, in a range of ten structurally identical vessels ordered by Hammonia, where christened at the Jiangsu Yangzijiang Werft in China. On 15th March 2007 the MV “HAMMONIA BEROLINA” was christened and MV “HAMMONIA FORTUNA” was christened on 08th June 2007. Since delivery both vessels are members of the 2.500 TEU Döhle Pool and both are chartered to Evergreen / Greencompass Marine for a period of 3 years. The sister-vessels (structurally identical to MV “HAMMONIA PALATIUM” which is the first vessel in this range, Christening: 07th October 2007) have a capacity of 2.546 TEU, are 208,90 m long and 29,80 m wide and have a draft of 11,60m. Cruising speed max. 22,0 knots.
