Change of Leadership in the technical department of HAMMONIA Reederei.
After 30 years of meritorious work for HAMMONIA Reederei and for our shareholder, Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG,
our technical director, Mr. Werner Hügele, commenced his well-deserved pension on 31st of January 2009.
Mr. Werner Hügele will remain in close contact with HAMMONIA Reederei further on in his capacity as
Senior Technical Consultant. His wide range of experience makes him a valuable employee in this new capacity.
During the establishing of HAMMONIA Reederei, Mr. Werner Hügele was one of the first employees. He contributed
a leading part in the structuring of the technical department.
The management expresses their sincere gratitude to Mr. Hügele for his abundant merits for the company and wishes
him all the very best for his new phase of life.
Werner Hügele passed the baton “technical director” on to Mr. Kay Thürnagel.
Kay Thürnagel has been employed by HAMMONIA Reederei since 1st January 2006. Prior to his employment with
HAMMONIA Reederei, he was employed for a period of 15 years with Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG.
Many years of trustful work enabled a smooth flow in the handing over phase of duties.
Mr Thürnagel is a guarantor of reliability in our technical department.
